Workshops
This wall hanging was inspired by a photograph I took while on vacation this summer. The bicycle is free motion sketched with black 50 weight cotton thread. The flowers and leaves are a combination of fused raw edge fabric scraps and free motion thread work in two shades of green thread. The background is stitched in white to create a subtle picture behind the bicycle. When I have the opportunity I will rephotograph this piece to show it’s true colors and detail.
