"I have taught in my home for many years and have been teaching professionally since 2006. I love to teach and share the knowledge I've gained over the years. I especially enjoy the enthusiastic response of my students."
Shannon has been quilting since 1989. She started out by focusing on traditional quilt methods. In the past few years, she has experimented with many non-traditional techniques and especially enjoys the challenge of working on art quilts. Shannon prefers creating original quilt designs rather than working from patterns. She loves to choose the fabrics for her projects and let the quilts evolve as she works. One of her favorite things to do is to work with vintage needlework, especially "orphan" pieces.
